honorable mention: dawn, katia, and everyone else who's been bringing other people to our shows. tent state could have been a disaster. but you all came. and i mean pretty much all of you. you came out, and you supported us. we wanted tent state to be an exposure gig, and it really wasn't, but we had a blast anyway, because you came, and you brought your friends. you filled the place, and when you all left, there was nothing. thank you. we love you all so very much. do you smell that???

| TENT STATE |

| to all of you who came out this weekend to our diad of shows at RSC, we thank you not only for coming out and rocking out, but for supporting 2 really excellent causes. friday's show was something else, a truly stellar show, and probably among the most fun we've ever played. we've got tent state coming up april 21st, on the back porch of scott hall, 43 college ave, new brunswick, nj. right across the court from historic murray hall, and across the street from the even more historic GREASE TRUCKS! we told you that we had surprises planned for the friday show, and you got them. i smelled it when you all collectively shat yourselves at the new hooplah. i'm gonna say this- TENT STATE IS OUR FIRST OUTDOOR GIG EVER. ALL THE STOPS, GONE! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE! i'm not saying "3" will come out at tent state, i'm not saying it won't. but i will remind you, you will have NO PRIOR NOTICE of its release. it will be a surprise, so you better keep showing up and stay tuned! i promise you this; if you liked the friday show, it's not in your best interest to miss tent state. special shout out to nathan, shaun, and shmichael for being the entirety of our audience sunday, as well as the toths as always. special shout to ash and dee for coming out and bringing their friends. katia, thanks for coming, and thanks for bringing your friend, erin(?). i'm not posititve on the name. but thanks for coming anyway. you rock. and i really don't think i left anyone out who came to see us, but if i did, thanks and sorry for leaving you out. ..ok so a few of you have been asking questions about "3" and it's release date. do we know when it's going to be relased? yes. will you know at any point before it happens. absolutely not. this is going to be a surprise, and we're going to go through any great lengths to keep it that way. 5 people in the whole world know, that being us and pete. here's what i'll give you:
1.) the release will be at a show.
2.) we will not tell you which show
3.) it will still be "early spring"

-we have been invited to play tent state, friday, april 21st at 8:30 pm. it will be exciting! our first outdoor gig ever, and we're playing an HOUR set.

first off, i want to say, that i mean what i said last night before we went on. we have the fucking greatest fans in the whole fucking world, and we know it. quality not quantity. fuck the rest of 'em.
secondly, i wanted to remind you, we are playing a "battle of the bands" march 12th @ the rail in Bound Brook. tickets are a mere 8 bucks, and we would love it if you would buy from us, because it gives us points, and we would love to actually win one of these.
ASYLUM 3 will be out before you know it. don't you worry. last night was a nasty situation, and i want to apologize to all our fans. show up to the rail, and i'll make you forget all about the last show. my word. |

the rail show is a "battle of the bands", so we encourage all of you to do as many of the following as you can:
1.)buy tickets from us. $8 from us, maybe more at the door, but we're not sure.
2.)SHOW UP!!!
3.) bring a shitload of people
4.) be insanely rowdy!!
we wanna win. we almost won in brooklyn, and it has left a rather sour taste in our mouths.
"3" update. the album is recorded. it's done. it's on tape. we're currently in the most vile, disgusting stage of any record: the mix. we're still on track as far as the "early spring" deadline goes. |
